Elementary Accelerated Teacher Certification Program Application

Application Checklist:

The application and other required forms can be found at the bottom of this page and will be accepted on a rolling basis. You must download these forms and complete them as MS Word, PDF, or similar program documents. Shared Google documents will not be accepted. Applications will not be considered until all required materials are received. Your completed application and required materials should be submitted to us electronically in one email to certification@rhodeislandspe.com. Please read all instructions before applying and reach out to certification@rhodeislandspe.com with questions.

1. Completed Application, including personal statement. (attached below)

2. Current resume/CV

3. Official transcripts from any undergraduate institution (and graduate, if applicable) from which the applicant was awarded academic credit and/or a degree. Official transcript recipient must be Rhode Island School for Progressive Education and should be requested electronically to certification@rhodeislandspe.com.

4. Two letters of recommendation from professional references, including at least one from a former or current supervisor. Letters can be emailed to certification@rhodeislandspe.com by either the applicant or the recommendation reference.

Please send application items 1-2 attached in one email sent to certification@rhodeislandspe.com. Please send items 3-4 per the checklist instructions.

Upon application review, you may be invited to attend an admission interview. Applications are considered on a rolling basis.
